How Enterprise Ireland’s €10,000 Innovation Voucher works, who can apply, and why it buys research time from a knowledge provider — not a software licence.

dgm is an independent osFoundry implementation partner — not affiliated with osFoundry’s developer (the company OS LLC), and it has not yet completed any client integrations.

The Innovation Voucher is Enterprise Ireland’s most accessible support — but it buys research time from a registered knowledge provider, not a software licence.

What the scheme actually gives

  • Standard voucher of €10,000 to work with a registered knowledge provider (a college or research body) on a business opportunity or problem; co-funded vouchers cover projects up to €20,000 with a 50% company contribution.
  • Open to all small and medium limited companies registered in Ireland — you do not need to be an EI client; up to four vouchers over time, exclusive of VAT.
  • The voucher pays the knowledge provider for research/advisory work, not for buying or subscribing to AI software.

Does it fund buying AI software?

The Innovation Voucher buys research and advisory time from a college or research body; it does not refund an AI subscription. A platform such as osFoundry lowers the cost structurally through usage-based pricing and the BYOK principle — which helps more than waiting for support that does not cover software.

How dgm helps

dgm is an independent implementation partner that helps businesses in Ireland adopt osFoundry — from identifying the first practical use case, through building it, to connecting AI to the systems you already use. dgm works independently of osFoundry’s developer (the company OS LLC) and has not yet completed any client integrations; everything above is therefore a description of the service offered, not a delivered result. If you would like to look at a sensible first step, dgm is happy to think it through with you. Arrange a no-obligation conversation with dgm.
